We understand that starting therapy can bring lots of questions — about what to expect, how sessions work, and whether it’s right for you.

Below you’ll find answers to some of the questions we’re most often asked.

About Therapy

  • We provide evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, ACT, CFT and DBT-informed work. Sessions are tailored to your individual goals and delivered by accredited therapists.

  • We offer therapy for adults, children and young people. We also support couples and families where appropriate.

  • Your therapist will discuss your difficulties in an initial assessment and recommend the most suitable evidence-based approach. You don’t need to decide before starting.

Fees & Payment

  •  Session fees vary depending on the type of therapy and therapist seniority. You’ll find current rates on our Fees page.

  •  Invoices are sent electronically and can be paid securely via bank transfer before each session.

  • Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential unless we believe you or someone else is at risk of serious harm. We’ll always discuss this with you wherever possible.

  • We’re not an emergency service. If you’re in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact your GP, NHS 111 or local crisis team.

Confidentiality & Safety

Sessions & Appointments

  • Yes. We offer face-to-face therapy in Kidlington (Oxford) and online sessions across the UK. Appointments are available during the day, in the evenings and on some weekends.

  • Most sessions last 50 minutes. Your therapist will discuss frequency and duration based on your needs and goals.

  • Yes - you’ll work consistently with one therapist to build a strong therapeutic relationship.

  • Yes - we have regular evening and some weekend availability to fit around work and family commitments.

Referrals & Suitability

  • No. You can refer yourself directly using our online referral form.

  • Yes - we accept referrals from GPs, schools, occupational-health teams and other professionals. 

  • You can book an initial assessment to explore your needs and ask questions. There’s no obligation to continue.
